HAPPY Valentine's! Or is it..?
~ A Bloody Valentine ~ Theme
It was fun letting out my inner psycho once in a while..
Last February 28, we held one of our usual pop-ups with a bit more blood than necessary.
The dog says 'Aoba', get over it people.
As for me, I decided to cosplay the first character that popped in my mind after I heard our theme for the month: Shion Sonozaki.
Let me give you a brief background about her. (Spoilers!)
Long before Mirai Nikki and it's yandere queen Yuno, we had Shion Sonozaki. If you have watched Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, we all know that Shion (sweet Shion!), is the more feminine twin of tomboy Mion Sonozaki.
And, if you have watched the said series, Shion was imprisoned by her twin Mion in the Watanagashi-hen arc.
By this time, she would have you believe how innocent and sweet she is. Until season two, that is.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai showed us another side to the story that was happening in the previous season.
And it is also in this season where they revealed that (GASP! GASP! GASP!) SHION TOOK THE PLACE OF MION IN WATANAGASHI-HEN.
Yup, you read that right. The psycho "Mion" that went around killing all those people was SHION ALL ALONG.

Anyway, back to the cafe.
The only problem I had with this particular cos is (as usual) the time constraints I had due to my apparent lack of funds. (In short, I was too broke and it was too soon)
But hey, I got around that problem. BANZAIIIIII!!!
Huhu, but another problem was that the 'weapon' I chose for this cos was Mion's in the Onikakushi-hen arc. ;_______;
I had no regrets though because by far this pop-up is the one I had the most fun with given that I CAN BE AS PSYCHOTIC AS I WANT.
*Insert evil laugh here*
And uhhhh, I got to omnoms some cookie and cupcakes..
Haha, lastly, the cafe would not be what it is without the awesome people behind it. So yes, that means more (probably derp) pictures. Enjoy!

We all know that February is a month holy to all those who are blessed with a loving partner and scorned by those without.
So we decided to have the best of both worlds for everyone to enjoy, single and couples alike~ <3
